COVINGTON — O. S. "Abe" Hatton, retired Covington plumber, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday in Veterans Administration Hospital at Danville, Ill. He was a member of the Wingate Masonic Lodge, Covington American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the Armed Forces during World War I. Mr. Hatton was born at Wingate, a son of William and Mary Wade Hatton. He was married to Hazel Martin on June 24, 1921. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Bell of Covington, and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hegg Funeral Home. The Covington American Legion will conduct graveside rites at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday. --typed by Walt W
